  • Video 3 - Detonation tests conducted by the Energetic Materials Research and Testing Center (EMRTC) at New Mexico Tech. All tests were conducted with 300-pound charges that were treated with equal amounts of fuel oil. In the order shown, the detonations are for #1) pure ANFO, #2) calcium ammonium nitrate (CAN), #3) AN fertilizer treated with 20 wt% class F fly ash, #4) AN fertilizer treated with 20 wt% FGD byproduct, and #5) AN fertilizer treated with 20 wt% class C fly ash.
