Thermo PQ3 ICP-MS System
The PQ3 is a quadrupole-based ICP-MS used to determine
trace (ppt-ppm levels) elements in a solution. The
ICP-MS is capable of measuring all elements from
lithium (atomic number 3) to uranium (atomic number
92) and beyond.
PerkinElmer FIAS 200 Flow Injection-Atomic
Absorption
The FIAS 200 flow injection system for atomic absorption
spectrometry provide full automation of analyses
requiring complex sample preparation, such as cold
vapor mercury determinations and hydride generation
determinations of as, se, te, bi, sb, sn, and other
hydride-forming metals.
Fourier-Transform Infra-Red (FT-i.r.)
PANalytical X'Pert PRO X-ray Diffractometer
X-ray diffraction is a versatile, non-destructive
analytical technique for identification and quantitative
determination of the various crystalline compounds,
known as 'phases', present in solid materials and
powders. The X'Pert PRO is used to analyze minerals
and clays associated with geological samples.
PANanalytical PW2404 X-ray Fluorescence
Wavelength-dispersive X-ray fluorescence spectrometry-XRF-
is a non-destructive analytical technique used to
identify and determine the concentrations of elements
present in solids, powders, and liquids. XRF is
capable of measuring all elements from beryllium
(atomic number 4) to uranium (atomic number 92)
and beyond at trace levels, often below one part
per million, and up to 100%. The PW2404 is used
to routinely analyze over twenty-six elements associated
with geological samples.
Raman Spectrometer
Hitachi S-2700 SEM-EDX
Scanning Electron Microscope (SEM) is one of the
most versatile instruments available for the examination
and analysis of the microstructure characteristics
of a material. The Energy Dispersive Spectrometer
(EDX) is used for quantitative elemental analysis
of a material.
