CAER STUDENT SUPPORT

The Center provides scholarships and other forms of financial assistance to undergraduate, graduate and post doctoral students at the University of Kentucky. A direct annual grant is made to the Kentucky Mining Engineering Scholarship Program for undergraduate mining engineering students from Kentucky, many from coal-producing counties. Graduate students are provided with Research Assistantships and post doctoral scholars are employed by the Center. Undergraduate students also work as co-ops at the lab as well as other industry sponsored positions.
