The different research programs and other areas at the CAER contain a wealth of information and expertise on diverse research topics and support activities. Access to this information could assist individuals in their present work, help to avoid duplication and possibly lead to the development of new ideas and the establishment of useful collaborations.
None of this can happen unless there are appropriate channels of communication. As part of an initiative to facilitate access to information, an CAER Internal Seminar Series was organized four years ago. Subject matter varies depending on the speakers' preference. There is a broad spectrum of presentations concerning specific CAER research areas, general subject reviews and analytical techniques.
Presentations will be announced at least two weeks in advance. The seminar format will be similar to that of the fuel science series: a 45 minute presentation, followed by a brief discussion period.
