CRC for Coal in Sustainable Development - The Cooperative Research Centre for Coal in Sustainable Development (CCSD) is one of 64 Cooperative Research Centre's (CRCs) established and supported through the Australian Government's Cooperative Research Centre's Program. CRCs are devoted to strengthening collaborative links between industry, research organisations and government agencies to achieve real outcomes of national, economic and social significance.

American Energy Security Study - develops a comprehensive plan for the United States to establish energy security and independence through production of alternative oil and liquid transportation fuels from its vast domestic resources, including coal, biomass, and oil shale.
