Engagment

The Development and Community Engagement Group (DCE) is the support mechanism between the researchers and the public. Through varied means, the staff facilitates communications with stakeholders and the public including:

  • Energy education (workshops and materials)
  • Public relations
  • Development
  • Knowledge management
  • Conference planning
  • Communications
  • Regional office outreach
  • Policy development
  • General energy information/library services

The DCE group was formed in 2011 by pulling together several support groups into one entity to better serve the CAER. While previously separated, the following areas now all report to an associate director for the group. The areas included are: communications, educational outreach, conference planning, web and social media, Kentucky Energy Club, library, regional office outreach, and policy development.
