This unique program links CAER's student experiential-education to one of the Center's industrial associates. Since 1998 CONSOL Energy, Inc. and the CAER have sponsored two UK undergraduate students with an opportunity to work in energy research each summer. The only criteria are that the students are Kentucky residents and conduct coal related research.
