Carbon Group

The Carbon Materials group focuses on developing viable technologies for producing high value carbon materials from Kentucky's fossil resources. The group has expanded this scope to include the synthesis and applications of multiwalled carbon nanotubes as well as the more traditional activated carbons and carbon fibers.
