The CAER had visitors on January 16th. Jim Fischer and Tobin Harvey, from the U.S. Department of Energy’s Energy Efficiency and Renewable Energy (EERE) http://www.eere.energy.gov/consumerinfo/pdfs/landscape.pdf center in Golden, CO visited in order to learn more about what we do. This was part of a larger and longer visit to UK’s Department of Agricultural Engineering. Several faculty members from the UK department accompanied the visitors.
Leadership group members made presentations, highlighting areas of potential collaboration. This was followed by a tour of labs that might be of interest to renewable energy experts.
