The Publications staff provides editorial services and support to staff members in the preparation of material for presentation and publication. Exhibit booth displays, powerpoint presentations and poster presentations are produced to provide a distinct and professional look to research data.
The bimonthly newsletter, Energeia, now in its seventh year of publication, has an international readership of 5,000. It is used to present a wide range of research findings and conference annoucements to a diverse audience.
An on-line newsletter called "Real Time" is also published, which combines interesting feature stories, along with data reporting, such as refereed publications, proposal and patent submissions, etc.
The Publications manager also serves as the public relations component of the Center. Personnel are involved in meeting planning, as well as staff exhibit booths at various conferences and meetings; update web site content; conduct numerous tours of CAER; and coordinate K-12 outreach educational projects.
